Monica’s journey into the world of nail care began as a passion project, but it quickly evolved into a career dedicated to redefining industry standards. Frustrated by the lack of high-quality, individualized care in traditional salons, she set out to create a space where nail health, precision, and artistry come first. In 2019, she officially launched Guavanailz, her first studio, which laid the foundation for what is now La Divina Wellness Salon—a sanctuary where beauty meets wellness. With a background in physical therapy, Monica has always been drawn to helping others feel their best. This passion led her to become a Medical Nail Technician and pursue nursing school, where she is currently expanding her expertise in medical foot care and holistic wellness. Her ultimate goal is to bridge the gap between beauty and healthcare, offering services that not only enhance aesthetics but also support overall foot and nail health, especially for those with conditions like diabetes, circulatory issues, and ingrown toenails.

As a Medical Nail Technician, Monica specializes in advanced Russian Manicure and Pedicure techniques, ensuring a flawless, long-lasting finish while preserving the natural strength and integrity of the nails. Her expertise extends to hand-painted nail art, a skill she honed through Guavanailz, where she blends creativity with precision to craft unique, custom designs tailored to each client’s style.​ Beyond aesthetics, Monica is committed to nail and foot wellness. She offers Onyfix, a non-invasive treatment for ingrown toenails, providing relief and comfort to those who need it most. Her medical background and ongoing nursing education allow her to take a health-first approach to nail care, ensuring that clients receive not just beautiful nails but also safe, informed, and professional care.

For Lizett, art has always been a part of her life. She is a passionate artist with a keen eye for detail. Before nails, she painted on canvases in her room, creating intricate designs just for the love of it. Lizett felt an inner calling to express her creativity more fully. After the pandemic, she decided to try something new—bringing her art to a different kind of canvas: nails. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a true passion, and she hasn’t looked back since.
